Urologist Joins Rogers Diagnostic Clinic Physician Staff


Rogers, AR (August 18, 2005) - Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas is pleased to welcome Michael J. Shulman, M.D., to Rogers Diagnostic Clinic. A urologist, he joins Dr. Paul Bumpers in offering treatment for urological disorders and diseases.

Dr. Shulman comes to Northwest Arkansas from Dallas, where he completed a residency in urology and an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Mich. Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Shulman received a master’s degree in chemistry from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., and worked professionally as a chemistry teacher and environmental scientist.

Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas, a not-for-profit faith-based health system, provides healthcare services to residents in northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri. When completed in 2007, the campus will include a 350,000-square-foot medical center with 200 beds and a medical office building to accommodate 90 physicians.
