Cardiologist Joins Mercy Heart Group Team
Rogers, AR (February 1, 2006) - There's no better way to
celebrate a month focused on heart health than to introduce Mercy Health System of
Northwest Arkansas' newest cardiologist.
Mercy is pleased to welcome Robert J. Stuppy, M.D., cardiology, to the Mercy Heart
Group. He joins Drs. Michael Allen, Charles Inlow and Douglas Marciniak in offering
minimally invasive treatment for cardiac disorders and diseases.
Dr. Stuppy is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He earned his doctor
of medicine degree from the University of Missouri. He completed a clinical fellowship
in cardiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., where he also completed an
internship and residency in internal medicine. Prior to joining the Mercy team, Dr.
Stuppy practiced in Joplin.
Mercy Heart Group is located at 1300 West Walnut in Rogers. The clinic is open Monday

Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas, a not-for-profit faith-based health system,
provides healthcare services to residents in northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri.
The System includes St. Mary's Hospital, The Gardens at Osage Terrace Assisted Living
Facility and Mercy Medical Clinics in 22 locations throughout northwest Arkansas and
southwest Missouri. Mercy is currently constructing a state-of-the-art medical campus
just east of Interstate 540 off of New Hope Road in southwest Rogers. When completed in
2007, the campus will include a 350,000-square-foot medical center with 200 beds and a
medical office building to accommodate 90 physicians.
