Precept Builders' Grand Opening Supports Friends House
Rogers, AR (March 23, 2006) - Friends House Adult Day
Care was the surprise beneficiary of Precept Builders' Rogers office grand opening.
On Wednesday, Precept Builders Vice President Barney Saia and Team Leader Terry
Searcy presented a check in the amount of $13,200 to Friends House Director
Myrtia Ruskauff. The Dallas-based company raised $6,600 through a silent auction
held during the grand opening and matched the amount.
"If it wasn't for the community and people like Precept Builders we couldn't exist,"
Ruskauff said.
She wasn't expecting the generous donation.
"It was a pleasant surprise," Ruskauff said about the gift. "They sought us out."
Friends House will use the donation to not only subsidize the activities planned for its
clients but also in its future planning of adult day care in Northwest Arkansas.
"As the baby boomers continue to age, Friends House will continue to grow and
serve the area," Ruskauff said. "We will continue to treat everyone with dignity and
respect while increasing their feelings of self-worth and accomplishment."
