Rogers, AR (July 24, 2007) - The St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary recently installed its new officers during the group's June board meeting. The 2007-2008 Auxiliary officers are:

  • President - Darlene Tuohy
  • President Elect - Shirl Coleman
  • Vice President - Margie Rollins
  • Treasurer - Rona Stufflebeam
  • Recording Secretary - Betty Eccleston
  • Correspondence Secretary - Frances Bond

This new group of officers will lead the Auxiliary during an exciting year for the group, which will include the final payment on their $350,000 pledge toward the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation's $40 Million Capital Campaign and the move to Mercy's new medical campus. The Auxiliary's pledge ? made in April 2003 ? was the first gift made toward the capital campaign.

St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary is one of the most resourceful in the state, with over 175 active volunteers and more than 40,000 hours annually. Current needs are in the ICU and surgery waiting rooms, gift shop, information desk and the emergency room. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer should contact Donna Beaver, volunteer manager, at 479-936-2840.
