Golf Classic Enjoys Another Successful Year


Rogers, AR (July 27, 2007) - As golfers attempted low scores at the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation's 14th Annual Golf Classic, it was the five-figure number that mattered most.

The Foundation raised $45,400 from the event, which was held at the Pinnacle Country Club on July 23. The proceeds will go toward its $40 million capital campaign.

"This event was a success because the people of Northwest Arkansas care about Mercy," said Tammy Mostyn, Philanthropy Specialist, St. Mary"s Hospital Foundation.

A field numbering 200 participants ? marking yet another sold out tournament ? filled the two flights of the four person scramble. Try as they did, no one participating in the $1 Million Super Shot Contest was able to drop their shot in the cup.

While there was no lucky winner in the $1 million shot, there were winners in the other contests including:
